In this 5 day Power skating camp we cover all the fundamentals and techniques to skate forwards and backwards. On day 4 including shooting, stickhandling and passing. On the last day we review all skating techniques and puck skills as a group.
Each 75-minute session starts with your child working on crossovers, step-overs and c-cuts. Then we break into three groups based on ability so your child learns among peers. This helps build confidence when learning a new technique. At end of the session we come back together and work on balance and agility.
Location: Oceanside Place, Parksville
Time: 8:00 pm – 9:15 pm daily
*NOTE COVID 19 – Although we are very hopeful that protocols will return to normal by August 2021 please be prepared for arena restrictions to still be in place, including no use of dressing rooms, outdoor registration and limited on-ice participants.
