POWER SKATING CAMP AGES 10 – 13 YRS OLD

In this 5 day Power skating camp we will cover all the fundamental skating techniques forwards and backwards. On day 4 we include shooting, stickhandling, passing and review the powerskating the player has learned throughout the week. On the last day we review all skating techniques, puck skills and finish off with a 15 minute controlled scrimmage.

On the ice we always start together as one main group working on inside, outside edges and moving upper body hockey stick included. Then I split the main group into three smaller ones based on the players current skill level. Your child will work with their peers as an opportunity to build confidence in learning a new skill. This confidence creates good skating habits that lead to overall player development.  At end of the session we come back together and work on balance and agility.
